What formats are supported?

Images: JPEG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF
Video output: MP4, MOV, M4V (AVI and MKV are accepted as input)
Audio output: M4A, WAV, AAC, AIFF, CAF, MP3 (MP3 input is also supported)
Documents: Images → PDF, PDF → Images

Are my files uploaded to any server?

No. All conversions, edits, AI image enhancement, OCR, background removal, and document scanning happen locally on your device. Your files never leave your phone.

Does the app show ads or have in-app purchases?

No. Media Editor Pro currently has no third-party advertisements, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions.

Why is the converted file larger than the original?

This can happen when converting to uncompressed formats (like BMP or WAV) or when converting from a highly compressed format. Try adjusting the quality settings or use the Smart Compress tool.

How does AI Enhance work?

AI Enhance uses the Real-ESRGAN model bundled inside the app to sharpen, denoise, and upscale images up to 4×. The model runs entirely on your device using Apple's CoreML — no image data is sent anywhere.

The app crashed during conversion. What should I do?

Very large files (especially 4K videos or high-resolution images being AI-upscaled) may exceed your device's available memory. Try closing other apps, restarting the device, or processing a smaller file. If the problem persists, please contact us with your device model, iOS version, and a description of the file you were processing.

How do I delete my data?

Your converted files and conversion history are stored locally on your device. You can clear history from inside the app or delete files using the Files app. To delete the anonymous usage logs associated with your device from our servers, email us at sefik.onur.akin@gmail.com with the subject "Media Editor Pro Data Deletion".
