1. Information We Collect

Flowsmith collects minimal data to provide cloud save and leaderboard features:

• Anonymous Device Identifier: A randomly generated UUID stored securely on your device. This is not linked to your name, email, or any personal identity.
• Game Progress: Level completions, stars, coin balance, unlocked skins and board backgrounds, achievement data, and daily streak information — synced to our servers so your progress is preserved across devices.
• Flow Rush Score: Your highest score in Flow Rush mode, used to populate the global leaderboard under the alias "Player XXXXXX" (last 6 characters of your anonymous device ID).
• Error Logs: Anonymous technical logs sent when errors occur, used solely to diagnose and fix bugs.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information
• Your location or IP address (beyond what is inherent in any HTTPS request)
• Payment or billing details — all purchases are processed exclusively by Apple or Google
• Contacts, camera, microphone, or file system access

3. How We Use Your Information

• Sync your game progress to the cloud so it is available if you reinstall the app or switch devices
• Display your score anonymously on the global Flow Rush leaderboard
• Diagnose crashes and improve app stability using error logs

4. Advertising

Flowsmith displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) and other device information to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings.

On iOS, we request your permission to track via the App Tracking Transparency prompt before showing personalized ads. You may deny this permission at any time in your device Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

5. In-App Purchases

Flowsmith offers consumable in-app purchases (coin packs) processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive only a purchase confirmation from RevenueCat — we never see or store your payment method or billing details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your game data is stored on secured servers with industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS). Your anonymous device ID is stored using your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).

7. Data Retention

Your game progress is retained for as long as it is useful to restore your save data. Error logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

• Request a copy of the data associated with your device ID
• Request deletion of all your data from our servers
• Opt out of personalized ads via your device's privacy settings

9. Children's Privacy

Flowsmith does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app collects only anonymous identifiers and game scores. If you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Push Notifications

Flowsmith may send local push notifications to remind you to play daily and maintain your streak. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to our servers. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
